He squalled out in pain as his busted heart colored his hands red. His bloodshot eyes angrily stared at his own broken heart that lay on his bare hands, the heart that was torn apart from old and new scars, and the heart that wept from being snatched away from the soul. His head carrying the arduous weight of some scummy memories strummed to look at the bellowing skies. Muscles of his face constrained and his wounded vocal cords growled at the celestial spirits. The heart that he had nurtured and protected from the vileness, laid like a dying soldier wounded by its own king. The king who apparently ordained the whole world from beyond the skies had no mercy for this heart.
The heart that could only skip a beat for thou was struggling to find its rhythm today. The one that endured the childhood snubs with ease, didn’t melt down across the seven seas, kept beating away from the dear ones and was chiseled in bronze going through the journey so far, burst into pieces today from the mere emotion of thy love. The tears that dried up as soon as they touched the skin could not justify the intensity of anger that flamed towards the Gods. Was he going to let them mend and break it again? Was he going to let them mock his emotions again? His lips widened into a smile, his eyes tore the skies with sarcasm as his hands let go off the weakness and he ran back into the world but this time without the heart....
